DAY 3, we took a horse drawn carriage tour with Savannah Carriage Tours. It took us through the Historic District and gave us the opportunity to learn more about Savannah's rich history.
Our tour covered 8 of Savannah's beautiful squares which took us just under an hour to complete. Were were able to sit back, relax and enjoyed the narration of history while our horse (George) clip-clopped past the many unique landmarks and historic homes.
We also learned just how big the Savannah College of Art & Design is. The school owns a lot of property and are continuing to expand! They buy the property and then beautify it as only an art & design school can.
I know, this isn't history, but I found it very interesting and impressive!
