Stuffed TBLT (Tomato, Bacon, Lettuce and More Tomato!)

This is a little twist on the classic BLT sandwich by using large heirloom tomatoes as the base and stuffed with chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and bacon with the bread of your choice on the side.

For the bread, we had a toasted whole grain loaded with a seedy texture and sweet flavor.

The heirloom tomatoes that we selected were HUGE and made for quite the filling and healthy meal. As a matter of a fact, I could not finish mine in one sitting and am looking forward to having for leftovers tomorrow!
