A simple dish for hosting summer gatherings
Our first summer dinner party of the season took place. It was a small and intimate gathering with some of our friends.

THE PREP
This menu requires minimal preparation. We diced the vegetables, cooked the rice, roasted the asparagus in the oven, and grilled the pork tenderloin along with the vegetables and pineapples. It's a straightforward process.
This is one of my favorite summer menus, light, healthy, yet filling.
THE WINE
We accompanied the meal with a delightful Pinot Noir of medium body, a perfect match for pork
tenderloin.
THE TABLESETTING
THE ATMOSPHERE
Connecticut blessed us with beautiful weather, with sunny skies and a temperature reaching 78 degrees. This allowed us to enjoy our dinner outdoors on the deck, accompanied by the soothing sounds of mellow jazz in the background.
Spending a lovely and calm evening with friends was a wonderful way to kick off the weekend!
May this delightful menu spark your inspiration!
