Wine, Charcuterie & Conversation ...

It's date night, we've both had very busy weeks. We thought about going out, but decided that since both the kids are out for the evening, we'd take advantage of the quiet and keep it simple and stay in. With neither of us in the mood to cook I created this charcuterie board and served with wine.

I enjoy creating charcuterie boards as they are like putting a puzzle together and making it a piece of art.

The contents of the board included a variety of yummy cheeses, artisan rosemary gourmet crackers as well Breton's Multi-Grain crackers. Sliced cucumbers with a flavorful cucumber, garlic & dill tzatziki, and cherries, lots, and lots of cherries! We enjoyed ourselves outside on our balcony, the food, company, and conversation. It was a little warm, but not unbearable. We're trying to enjoy the last of the summer days here in New England.

The wine that we had with our board was a lovely French Bordeaux Rose --- Laville Pavillon 2020.

I absolutely love my David Burke board, it's perfect for a great charcuterie spread ...

Cheers!
